Resources For San Diego Businesses During COVID 19
San Diego Community, let me start to say, I am not an expert on ANY of these!
I just wanted to be able to share some of the resources and helpful articles we have found to support us in navigating this delicate time!
Below are some of the loans we have applied for and some that we aren’t eligible for. Let us know if you have found any others and we will continue to add to the list as we find more!
Resources/Grants:
LISC Relief Grant: Due Tonight! This application is due tonight! It’s a quick one.
Hello Alice: Applications Due May 14th. We applied for this grant this weekend. Round 3 of applications just opened up and go until May 14th. If you don’t get selected in the round, they transfer your application to the next round. This application took us around 45 minutes, they had questions around your business, goals, what you would do with the money.
Freelancers Union: For those of you that may be independent contractors and don’t have a corporation or LLC set up, this is a resource. The applications are currently closed, but you can get on their list to find out when they open back up again.
Facebook grant: We were not eligible but based on where your business is located you may be!
Red Back Pack Fund: This is by one of my favorite gals the founder of SPANX! Mark your calendars, applications open again May 4th.
James Beard Restaurant Fund: Applications are closed but keep checking back. This is specifically for restaurants.
San Diego Relief Fund: Applications are closed, but keep an eye out. I signed up for their email list to get all of the alerts.
SBA: They resumed Pay Check Protections Loan Apps yesterday. Also, there is the disaster relief fund application. I am not sure when they will be opening that up again, but get on the list, we were able to get a small amount from that.
